PerDiem LLC Launches Windows Mobile and Blackberry versions of GPS Personal Location & Tracking (PLT7) software

Free Software for Windows Mobile or Blackberry phones. New capability includes Points of Interest (POI) lists with AGILE ZONES and entry/exit SMS notification.

AGILE ZONES are Zones that reposition themselves around the closest POI. As a user moves about, the closest Zone changes and the Zone repositions itself. Entry and Exit of a Zone triggers an SMS notification.  Each POI has its own notification phone number, thus each POI can notify a unique phone number or a common phone number via SMS.

The PLT software allows you to track your trip on a Google map and lets others locate and follow you online. Set the Pin numbers so only those that you choose can see your trip. You can turn off anyone's ability to locate you at anytime. PLT allows you to access and use your GPS/phone on-the-fly from any location connected to the Internet. Get reliable, convenient and secure access to GPS information from home or on the road.

                      Windows Mobile                                         Blackberry

The Blackberry version of PLT (PLT7B) is now online for downloading. A new nearly identical Windows Mobile version (PLT7W) is also online. Both links are available on the main PerDiem web page http://www.perdiemco.com.

 Documentation is available for both applications in PDF format. The focus of both applications is on ease of use. Starting PLT7 from the main menu will launch the application using the preset configuration settings. Three quick button presses and the PLT7 is launched, online and tracking!

Blackberry users may need to consult with their IT department for assistance in setting permissions and installation of PLT7. The PLT7B software has been tested using a Blackberry Curve 8310 with internal GPS.
